Optical Illusion Reveals Your Biggest Fear
Many people love reading about their astrological sign or daily horoscope, receiving a tarot card reading, or anything that will help them understand themselves just a little bit more.
So it should come as no surprise that a social media account that tells the viewer details about themselves based on what they saw in an optical illusion photo has become extremely popular.
Mia Yinlin: Telling People Who They Are Though Optical Illusion Photos
On both TikTok and Instagram, Mia Yinlin, a teacher from Arizona, is sharing video clips with optical illusion photos. In the videos, she asks the viewer the same question every time, “What’s the first thing you see in this picture?”
Then she goes on to explain how what you saw determines your personality and your characteristic traits.
What’s the First Thing You See in This Picture?
Last week, Mia Yilin posted this photo on Instagram and explained, “If the first thing you saw were the faces of the man and woman, then you are probably the most logical of those around you. You’re a kind person and have strict morals, but you don’t like to be blindly led by the heart.”
She continued, “If the first thing you saw was the apple core, then you are very emotionally sensitive. This does not mean that you are unstable and always upset… It implies that you are very good at reading hidden signals and always know the right thing to say in social settings.”
Viewers Think Mia Yilin Knows Her Stuff
Although Mia Yilin is not a doctor or therapist, the general consensus is that she knows what she’s talking about.
Hundreds of comments on her many videos praise Yilin and say that her explanations of the personalities of what people see describe them perfectly.
Can Stereograms Really Explain Your Personality?
Even though it’s not an exact science, there is definitely some evidence to show that optical illusions, or stereograms, can actually explain someone’s personality.
And TikTok and Instagram users are certainly watching her videos to find out what these optical illusions, and what they see in them, can tell them about themselves. In fact, Yilin’s followers on TikTok doubled from 31,000 to 61,000 last month due to these fascinating clips.
