Kyle Richards: Early Life
Born on the glitzy and glamorous portion of Los Angeles, California, on January 11, 1969, to Kenneth Edward Richards and former Kathleen Mary Dugan, Richards has always been a part of the Hollywood crowd as a young child. Her parents separated in 1972. She has two older siblings from her mother’s side, including half-sister Kathy Hilton from Kathleen’s first marriage, while her other sister is Kim Richards. She also has three half-siblings from her father.
Kyle Richards: Early TV Career
In 1974, Richards started appearing in the “Little House on the Prairie” series as Alicia Sanderson Edwards, the adopted daughter of Grace (Bonnie Bartlett) and Isaiah Edwards (Victor French). She had a total of 18-episode appearance during the second to the eighth season of the historical drama series. She and her older sister Kim also appeared as on-screen sisters in the thriller “The Car” in 1977. Throughout the 1970s, she starred in various TV series like “Flying High,” “Fantasy Island,” “Vega$,” as well as “Carter Country.” She was also a part of the hit 1978 slasher movie “Halloween” in 1978.

Bravo tapped Richards to become one of the main cast members of the reality show called “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” She is one of the original members of the sixth installment of the “Real Housewives” franchise, together with her sister Kim, Camille Grammar, Adrienne Maloof, Lisa Vanderpump, and Taylor Armstrong. She was first married when she was 18 years old and pregnant to Indonesian Guraish Aldjufrie in 1988, but divorced in 1992. She got married again in 1996 to Mauricio Umansky. She had a daughter with Aldjurie named Farrah and three daughters with Umansky named Alexia, Sophia, and Portia. The family lives together in the Encino neighborhood in Los Angeles.
