Emily Johnson has worked as a professional copywriter and editor since 2011. Throughout her career, she has written and edited trending news articles, evergreen content, personal essays, e-commerce pieces, and product descriptions. She most recently worked as the Senior Commerce Editor for Brainjolt Media before moving back into freelancing full-time in 2022.
Emily earned her bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis on Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2010. She lives in a 112-year-old (possibly haunted) house with her husband and two young children in Shorewood, Wisconsin.
